The REAL rock’n’roll animal. And a septuagenarian. Saw him live last year, right about the time his latest album (of which this above is the title track) was released on Bloodshot Records.
The intro by organ wizzard Quintron is… wow! And as usual, the noise and the groove and the lewdness are turned to 11.

One of my favourite political dance bands. Their artful mixing and matching of beats from all over the world is a constant source of surprise and pleasure: this song sounds like it was recorded last month in San Juan, Bali and Dakar, and Juan Atkins’s studio circa 1985.
